Short Day Getting Ready to Go
We were done just after 3pm today. We had a short day of marking bags and footlockers and filling out paperwork. At least I did. Many went out to the range for qualification, but i still am not allowed to lift anything heavier than a coffee cup. And it was a tough day to shoot--30mph winds and a temperature that just reached freezing. And we will all be back Tuesday to once more go through paperwork and medical checks to be sure we are healthy enough to go to Iraq.

ReplyDeletePrayers continuing for you and all your soldiers as you gear up for this deployment! Sounds like your recovery is going well. Frustrating how long it takes, isn't it??? 3 months post-knee surgery, and I expect to be completely better already, LOL, and am most annoyed that reality tells me otherwise!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself; thanks for the updates. :)
Kat--Thanks very much. I start the real rehab on Monday the 15th, but the flexibility is going well so far. I have nearly full range of motion-with more pain in some directions than others.

Meredith--You are such a gifted writer!!!! [blush]
