I had it within a week of turning 16 1/2. I just don't get it when people wait until they're 17 or 18. I have a couple of aunts on my husbands side that never got their licenses. When my mother had to give up driving due to failing health, at age 80, she said she felt like she was in prison, and was ready to die. I kinda get that. She died about 2 weeks later. P.S.
